【Famous Medical Practitioner's Heritage】Wenxiang Wen's Letter of Apprenticeship

Respected Master Wu Mingjie,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Wen Wenxiang, and I am from Shenzhen. I am deeply honored and excited to have been recognized and trusted by you, granting me the privilege of becoming your disciple.

I vividly remember August 2014, when my father was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. Trusting in modern medical advancements, we followed the hospital's treatment plan, which included 33 rounds of radiotherapy and 12 rounds of chemotherapy. At just 26 years old, I found myself solely responsible for my father's life-and-death situation. Though fragile inside, I forced myself to appear stronger than my father, knowing that my composure was crucial to his will to survive. After nearly a year of arduous treatment, we returned for a follow-up examination, only to be devastated once again—the cancer had metastasized to his liver, and it was at an advanced stage. An immediate surgery was scheduled at Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center through personal connections. The day before the surgery, the doctor informed me that my father might only have about three months to live after the procedure. Feeling utterly helpless, I sought advice everywhere and eventually learned about the "902" treatment developed by Professor Wu Mingjie. With no other options left, I decided to give it a try, hoping for a miracle. Shortly after the surgery, my father began taking "902." Good people are rewarded with good fortune—my father is an exceptionally kind, honest, hardworking man who deeply loves his family and children. Heaven showed him mercy, and he survived not just three months, but a full year.

In June 2017, my father suddenly developed a fever. His temperature spiked to nearly 39°C initially, then hovered around 38°C for over ten days before finally subsiding. Throughout this period, he did not experience extreme discomfort. Fortunately, Professor Wu Mingjie, adhering to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, guided me remotely. He explained that this was my father's body detoxifying and

encouraged me to convey positive energy to him, urging him to rest well. He also prescribed a traditional Chinese herbal formula to release the exterior and clear heat.

I am eternally grateful to Professor Wu Mingjie for his continuous guidance and for instilling in me the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through his teachings, I have learned many natural therapies and have been encouraged to study TCM, enabling me to care for my parents and children. TCM is not merely a medical technique—it embodies humanistic care, compassion, self-cultivation, and personal charisma.

The journey to becoming a TCM practitioner is filled with joy, especially when alleviating others' suffering. Though the path of learning is long, I am willing to dedicate my life to it, continuously improving my skills and medical knowledge. I aspire to become a physician like Master Wu, who excels in both medical ethics

and professional competence. Today, in the presence of my fellow disciples, esteemed masters, and seniors, I, Wen Wenxiang, humbly request Master Wu to formally accept me as your initiated disciple.

Respectfully,

Wen Wenxiang
