**Program Overview**  

- **Dates:** April 3rd – April 23rd, 2026 (20 days)  

- **Cost:** $3,600 USD per person  

- **Eligibility:**  

  - Dr. Wu’s students must have completed at least one year of training in person and/or online.

  - Dr. Wu’s friends must already be a certified Tai Chi and/or Qi Gong practitioner.

  - Through this journey, participants obtain the international instructor certification in Fengyang Tai Chi & Qigong.

**Inclusions**  

1. **Accommodation:** 3-star or equivalent hotels. (Single occupancy, one room for one person only.)  

2. **Meals:** Three meals daily. (nutritious Chinese cuisine suitable for Tai Chi practice)  

3. **Transportation:**  

   - Domestic travel in Guangdong (high-speed train, coach, and private transfers: Guangzhou → Jieyang → Puning → Chaozhou → Shantou)  

   - Airport pickup at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN)  

4. **Core Activities:**  

   - **Apprenticeship Ceremony:** Traditional ceremony at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine  

   - **Daily Training Schedule:**  

     - 07:00–08:00: Advanced Fengyang Tai Chi & Qigong practice  

     - 21:00–22:00: Q&A and group meditation (30 minutes each)  

5. **Cultural Experiences:**  

   - Visit to a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wellness center  

   - Immersive Lingnan cultural exploration: Jieyang, Puning, Chaozhou, Shantou

1. **International Flights:** Round-trip airfare from New York JFK to Guangzhou CAN  

2. **Travel Insurance:** Must be purchased separately (recommended: medical and accident coverage)

**Detailed Itinerary**  

**Phase 1: Arrival in Guangzhou (April 3–6)**  

- **April 3:** Depart from New York JFK.  

- **April 4:**  

  - Arrive in Guangzhou, take a connecting flight to Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport. Check into hotel in Pu Ning City.

  - Free time for rest and jet lag adjustment.  

- **April 5:**  

  - Rest from jet lag, practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong. 

  - Afternoon orientation and icebreaker activities.  

- **April 6-:**  

- Practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong

**Puning:** Explore herbal markets; study TCM dietary therapy integrated with Tai Chi  

  **Phase 2: Lingnan Cultural Immersion (April 7 – April 21)**  

- **April 7:**

  -April 8 **Jieyang:** Visit Jinxian Gate and Jieyang Confucian Temple; experience Teochew dim sum culture  

  -

  - **Chaozhou:** Internship at Chaoshan Orthopedic Hospital (Dr. Wu as honorary dean); visit Guangji Bridge and Paifang Street; study "Qi flow" in Chaozhou embroidery  

  - **Shantou:** Discover Xiaogongyuan historic district; sunrise Qigong on Nan’ao Island  

  - **Daily Schedule:**  

    - Morning: Cultural tours and exchanges with local masters  

    - Afternoon: Advanced Tai Chi training in natural settings  

    - Evening: Group reflection and meditation sharing  

**Phase 3: Return & Certification (April 22)**  

- **April 23:** Return to Guangzhou; transfer to Baiyun Airport for U.S. departure

**Chaozhou Day: Chaoshan Orthopedic Hospital Internship**  

**Date:** April 13, 2025  

- **Morning:** Hospital Observation  

  - 08:30: Depart hotel for hospital  

  - 09:00–12:00:  

    - Observe bone-setting techniques, herbal poultice applications, and rehabilitation acupuncture  

    - Case study: Integrating Tai Chi principles into TCM rehabilitation  

    - Special session: Dr. Wu’s lecture *"The Role of Qi in Musculoskeletal Healing"*  

- **Afternoon:** Tai Chi & Culture  

  - 13:00–15:00: Tai Chi for joint rehabilitation in Qingtian Park  

  - 15:30–17:30: Visit Guangji Bridge and Chaozhou Embroidery Museum (explore "Qi and Harmony" philosophy)  

- **Evening:** Reflection  

  - 19:00–20:00: Group discussion on applying orthopedic insights to Tai Chi instruction
