How to do Gua Sha to Get Rid of Varicose Veins
Video Transcript:
Christine: Hey there, I’m Christine. I want to talk about Gua Sha. Dr. Ming Wu helped me get rid of my varicose veins, and I’d like to share that. It’s pretty incredible.
I did the shots three times, and they keep coming back. So I came to him, and he taught me some stuff.
So you use a little bit of oil, this is coconut oil. And you just put a little on your skin. And this leg was FULL of veins. And then you take your gua sha tool, and you go away from the heart. And you push down. And it feels pretty good.
And you’re supposed to do 30 minutes a day, every day, for 30 days, and they’ll be gone. And I did it, and they were gone. Very amazing. And it feels good. You might get little red marks here or there, but they go away quickly.
And then, you can, if you don’t want to buy a Gua Sha stone, which Dr. Ming Wu sells, you can get a Chinese spoon from anybody, for free, or a regular spoon. And it works just as good.
Oh and I also have this necklace I got. This is a Gua Sha stone. You can do Gua Sha on the face, which helps you stay younger. And you can wear it.
Isaias: So what’s Gua Sha?
Christine: Gua Sha is an old form of massage that brings up the stagnant blood and gets rid of pain and swelling.
Isaias: Amazing.
Christine: Yeah. It’s good stuff. Very good stuff.
Isaias: So how bad were your varicose veins before you started?
Christine: I had big, bulging blue marks, leg swelling. And it’s mostly gone!
Isaias: It’s gone. From 30 minutes a day.
Christine: 30 minutes a day for 30 days. Completely gone.
Isaias: Amazing.
Christine: Yup. Very incredible. And I’m teaching my daughter to do the same thing so she won’t have them.
Christine’s Daughter: It was kinda gross.
Christine & Isaias: [Laughter]
Christine: It was, but now it’s gone. So thank God.
Isaias: She’ll be okay.
Christine: Thank God to Ming Wu. Yup. And she won’t have to look at them either.
Christine’s Daughter: [Laughs]
Christine: So I’m very excited about this. That he shared that with me. And I bought a fancy Gua Sha stone from him for my practice that I use on people now.
Isaias: Oh nice.
Christine: It’s really good.
Isaias: Great. And so you practice here at the Wu Healing Center?
Christine: No, I have a place in Palmer (MA), my own place.
Isaias: Palmer? Awesome.
Christine: Yeah.
Isaias: Awesome. Thank you.
Christine: Thank you very much.
