This donation came entirely from the apprenticeship red envelopes presented by the 17 disciples at the apprenticeship ceremony on September 8, 2026. The three generations of teachers, as if by prior agreement, chose to donate the full amount of the gift money—using the act of supporting education to transmit the teaching of setting one's heart aright, adding yet another touching chapter of benevolence to the transmission of Chinese medicine.

Those who study medicine must first learn benevolence; those who transmit the art must first transmit virtue. From Professor Xiao Xinhe to Dr. Wu Mingjie, and then to Master Chen Qingzhen, what these three generations pass on is not only medical knowledge and learning, but also the character and commitment of benefiting the world and helping others. The gift of apprenticeship is originally to honor the teacher; donating to support education is even more about nurturing people. Passing the torch with a benevolent heart, and nurturing later learners through good deeds—this is the most vivid illustration of the transmission of the "staunch Chinese medicine" lineage.
Passing on the Medical Lineage · Welcoming Later Learners
Dr. Liu Jiaqi, Chief Physician, in order to continue the essence of the three medical lineages of Deng, Xiao and Wu, to promote the clinical techniques of Chinese medicine, and to serve the public, hereby officially opens his door to accept disciples from all of society, transmitting medical skills, inheriting the medical Way, and helping the people.
The disciples to be accepted this time fall into two categories:
1. Professional Physicians: Professional disciples will be accepted from among practitioners licensed in integrated Chinese and Western medicine and in the Chinese medicine category, to systematically inherit the clinical diagnostic and treatment thinking, distinctive techniques, and academic experience of the three medical lineages.
2. Chinese Medicine Wellness: Wellness disciples will be accepted from among Chinese medicine wellness practitioners and enthusiasts of traditional culture, to study the wisdom of Chinese medicine wellness and practical daily health-maintenance techniques.
Notes on the transmission:
No tuition fees throughout—with pure transmission as the original intention, and no commercial threshold set;
The formal apprenticeship ceremony is held once a year, at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine;
After the apprenticeship rites are completed, an apprenticeship certificate is formally issued, and the disciple is entered into the school's lineage record.
Upholding the right path without wavering, transmitting the medicine of Qihuang; with a benevolent heart benefiting the world, continuing the torch. We sincerely welcome fellow practitioners of Chinese medicine, medical students, and Chinese medicine enthusiasts to join us, to jointly inherit the essence of the medical lineage and to jointly promote the right path of Chinese medicine.
